Product development
You understand the business problem, but the product is still only an idea?
I map the workflow, define a useful first release and build the web product end to end.
Founder & software engineer — Almaty · worldwide
I’m the founder of Lumisys and a hands-on software engineer. I turn business workflows into web products, internal tools, integrations and automation — from the first sketch to a production system. I also handle migrations and cloud infrastructure when a project needs them.
A few lines are enough. I usually reply within one business day.
manual work removed through automation
business apps secured behind one login
people moved in one migration — zero data loss
01 / What I build
Product development
I map the workflow, define a useful first release and build the web product end to end.
Internal tools
I build internal tools and admin systems around the way the team actually works.
Automation
I connect the systems and automate the repeatable parts, with logs and a clear recovery path when something fails.
Production readiness
I add the practical foundation: authentication, permissions, logging, backups, containers and documented releases.
Infrastructure & migrations
That is where my infrastructure background helps: I have delivered migrations for up to 5,000 people with zero data loss.
Lumisys — my product
I’m building Lumisys to put that operational picture in one product and make the next action clear.
02 / Experience
people in one migration
mail, files and chats intact — zero data loss
R—01
business apps, one login
ex-employees locked out in minutes, not weeks
R—02
manual IT operations
the routine became scripts; the team got its week back
R—03
devices under management
enrolled, encrypted, wipeable — from 20-device shops up

03 / Process
1
Tell me what the business is trying to improve, who uses the process today and where it breaks down. I will say plainly whether I can help.
2
We define the smallest useful version, the constraints, the stages, the cost and what success should look like.
3
I write the code, release in small steps, add tests and monitoring, and document the system so it is safe to change and easy to run.
04 / About
I’m Gleb Safonov, based in Almaty. Right now I’m building Lumisys, software for running cafés: I shape the product, write the code and run the servers myself.
Before that I spent 5 years on company IT infrastructure: moved up to 5,000 people between Microsoft 365 tenants with zero data loss, wired single sign-on into 50+ business apps, managed 10,000+ devices. Since then I start with one question: who keeps this running a year from now? I work in English and Russian.
Behind every release sits a private setup where agents from different labs write, argue and check each other’s code. You only see the result.
One engineer. A custom harness. Agents that don’t sleep.

I live in Almaty and work remotely with companies in Kazakhstan and abroad. I speak English and Russian.
Yes. First we get to know the system and agree on the scope together: what we fix, what we change, what we rebuild. Then we build the project to that plan.
Yes, under my own name — from a one-page business site to a web app.
Lumisys is my product for cafés. Ask me about it at projects@lumisys.net.
I will tell you directly if I cannot help.
